Relocation sites for Typhoon Yolanda victims in tge Philippines. A survey.
Philippines' Government nowadays is experiencing some major problems because of the Super-Typhoon Yolanda. Many Filipinos has suffered. One of this problems is the relocation sites for the survivors. Since tge damage is really largw the Goverment and some Foundations also needs multiple relocation sites especially in Leyte, Ilo-ilo, and Tacloban City.
In Palo, Leyte - Taiwan based Buddhist Tzu Chi Fondation funded tge biggest housing village for survivors o the Typhoon at Brgy. San Jose. Tzu-Chi Foundation Commisioner Henry Yuñez said that the Palo Tzu Chi Great Village is the biggest housing their Foundation has ever constructed in the Philippines.
In Tacloban City, Brg. 99 Diit, where the Pope Francis Village is, touted as tge first in-city permanent relocation site for surviors of Typhoon Yolanda. Thr project will house 550 families currently living in nine Tacloban barangays identified as danger zones. Pope Francis village symbolizes the value of Mercy and compassion of the Pope who visited Tacloban.
In Ilo-ilo, Brgy. Malayu-an, The Caritas Village is located. The housing project called "Caritas Village" consists of 66 duplex houses built on 1.6 hectares of land. The housin project also includes a children's playground a multi-porpuse building , a water system, a road network and a basketball court.
These are only few of the relocation sites in Visayas. But it's stil not enough to help the survivors of the Typhoon. The Goverment with the help of some Foundations are still in search of land areas that are safe and convenient for the survivors of the Super-Typhoon Yolanda.
